Hi, I’m Matt.

I’m a people analytics leader at HubSpot, where I lead a data science team focused on employee productivity and developer experience. I build AI tools and employee-facing products that help people do their best work.

Before industry, I studied computational social science at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where my research examined organizational culture, labor market inequality, and firm performance. My work has been published in the Harvard Business Review and Administrative Science Quarterly, among other places.

I write here occasionally about things I’m building, thinking about, or find interesting.
